METHODOLOGY ASSESSING QUALITY SERVICE PASSENGERS IN THE SPHERE OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Abstract (English):
Quality of services provided to passengers is synonymous with a wide range of characteristics of the transport system, such as safety, availability, reliability, and adherence to public transport intervals. Currently, the majority of road passenger enterprises need to control the quality of the services provided in order to evaluate and improve them. The article provides an overview of the methodology for assessing the quality and efficiency of public transport. From the passenger’s point of view, the main qualitative characteristics are the coefficients of excessive waiting time and loading of the public transport salon; their calculation is given. In conclusion, the possibilities of public transport organizations are formulated in case of introduction of the methodology.
