MODELING OF ELECTROMAGNETIC INFLUENCES OF TRACTION NETWORKS ON PIPELINES IN EMERGENCY MODES
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Steel pipelines can be laid along the AC mainline routes. As a result of the electromagnetic effect of traction networks, pipes with insulating coatings can induce voltages that are dangerous to personnel who operate the pipeline. Simulation has shown that when short circuits in the traction network at certain points of the pipe the magnitude of the induced voltage may exceed 500 V.

Keywords:
pipelines, traction networks, short-circuits, induced tension.
