In relation to electric power facilities, the advantages of cloud computing are considered. It has been established that, depending on the goals and objectives solved by the energy services, various types and categories of cloud technologies are applicable. It is noted that energy companies demonstrate greater openness to new technologies, such as cloud computing, the Internet of things in the energy sector, against the backdrop of a growing digitalization trend of the country's economy as a whole
